JOB VACANCY: HEAD OF STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

The Kyrgyz Football Union is seeking a highly qualified and motivated specialist for the position of Head of Strength and Conditioning to work with National Teams and the National Football Academy.

This is a key role in shaping the long-term physical development of players across all levels of elite football in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement evidence-based physical preparation programs for senior and youth National Teams
• Collaborate with coaches, medical staff, and analysts to ensure a holistic player development model
• Monitor performance data (GPS, fitness testing, wellness, etc.) and develop individualized plans
• Lead physical conditioning programs at the National Football Academy
• Mentor and support national physical coaches within the KFU structure
• Align all practices with international standards and FIFA Talent Development Scheme principles
• Participate in injury prevention and rehabilitation planning
• Support the use of technology and performance analysis tools
• Deliver educational workshops for local staff and clubs
• Provide documentation, planning materials, and technical reports as required

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in elite football (national teams or professional clubs)
• Proven work in youth development programs
• Valid international certification (e.g., NSCA CSCS, ASCA, UKSCA)
• Proficiency with GPS tracking systems, athlete monitoring software, and testing protocols
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills
• Experience in mentoring local staff or capacity-building programs is an asset
• Fluency in English required; Russian or Kyrgyz is an advantage

Накануне завершился первый этап учебно-тренировочных сборов Юношеской сборной Кыргызской Республики U-17. 

17 мая на Центральном стадионе города Токтогул состоялось выездное совещание с целью обсуждения реконструкции данного футбольного объекта. В совещании приняли участие Президент Кыргызского футбольного союза Камчыбек Ташиев, генеральный секретарь Медербек Сыдыков, советник Президента КФС Аманбек Каскеримов.

Со стороны местных властей в мероприятии приняли участие Аким Токтогульского района Акылбек Тюкебаев, мэр города Токтогул Болот Максутбаев и другие руководители государственных служб, а также представители футбольного клуба «Токтогул».

Указанный стадион не проходил через капитальный ремонт с момента его ввода в эксплуатацию в 1980 году. В ходе встречи был представлен эскизный план реконструкции стадиона. В рамках реконструкции местные власти взяли на себя обязательство провести работы по благоустройству самого стадиона и его окрестностей.

КФС предоставляет консультативную помощь в рамках реконструкции, а при поддержке Фонда развития футбола Кыргызской Республики будет полностью обновлено игровое поле стадиона и установлена новая система освещения.

Ремонтные и строительные работы будут завершены в августе текущего года.
