JOB VACANCY: HEAD OF STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

The Kyrgyz Football Union is seeking a highly qualified and motivated specialist for the position of Head of Strength and Conditioning to work with National Teams and the National Football Academy.

This is a key role in shaping the long-term physical development of players across all levels of elite football in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement evidence-based physical preparation programs for senior and youth National Teams
• Collaborate with coaches, medical staff, and analysts to ensure a holistic player development model
• Monitor performance data (GPS, fitness testing, wellness, etc.) and develop individualized plans
• Lead physical conditioning programs at the National Football Academy
• Mentor and support national physical coaches within the KFU structure
• Align all practices with international standards and FIFA Talent Development Scheme principles
• Participate in injury prevention and rehabilitation planning
• Support the use of technology and performance analysis tools
• Deliver educational workshops for local staff and clubs
• Provide documentation, planning materials, and technical reports as required

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in elite football (national teams or professional clubs)
• Proven work in youth development programs
• Valid international certification (e.g., NSCA CSCS, ASCA, UKSCA)
• Proficiency with GPS tracking systems, athlete monitoring software, and testing protocols
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills
• Experience in mentoring local staff or capacity-building programs is an asset
• Fluency in English required; Russian or Kyrgyz is an advantage

Национальная сборная Кыргызской Республики стартует во втором раунде квалификационных игр Чемпионата Мира 2026.
Наша сборная играет в группе «D» со сборными Малайзии, Омана, Китайского Тайбэй. 
В середине ноября пройдут первые два матча отбора на мировое первенство. 

16 ноября Национальная сборная команда под руководством главного тренер Штефана Тарковича проведет выездной матч против сборной Малайзии. Стартовый матч нашей сборной в рамках отбора пройдет на стадионе «Букит Жалил» в городе Куала-Лумпур (Малайзия) в 19:00 по бишкекскому времени. Прямая трансляция матча будет доступна на канале Кыргыз Спорт ТВ.
Для болельщиков сборной будет организована фан-зона в ТЦ Дордой-Плаза. 

21 ноября #АкШумкар состоится домашний матч против сборной Омана. 

Болельщики, спустя долгое время,  смогут поболеть за любимую команду и насладиться самой настоящей футбольной атмосферой. Зрителей ожидают развлекательные игровые зоны в фан-крыле стадиона, зрелищные выступления звезд эстрады, а также розыгрыши ценных призов. 

Игра Кыргызская Республика-Оман стартует в 19:00 на главной спортивной арене Бишкека - стадионе Д.Омурзакова.
